Cignal TV Partners with PDAX for UAAP Season 84
PDAX, through this collaboration, is likely the first-ever PH crypto company to support a national sporting event in the entirety of its season.
Cignal TV, a sports network, announced its partnership with Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX), a home-grown crypto exchange, for the University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Games Season 84, a collegiate basketball tournament in the country. The season will run until May 2022.
PDAX, through this collaboration, is likely the first-ever PH crypto company to support a national sporting event in the entirety of its season.

The exchange will be supporting the basketball tournament, while promoting crypto and financial literacy in the country. Through in-game premiums and other marketing campaigns of Cignal, PDAX will be featured for the duration of the UAAP Season 84.
Sienna Olaso, Cignal TV’s vice president of channels and content, noted the partnership as another step to promote youth development in the Philippines.

Recently, PDAX took another move towards improving the digital asset standards in the country as it partnered with Notabene, a US-based crypto regulatory technology firm, to implement the exchange’s compliance with the ‘Travel Rule,’ a government policy that requires customers to divulge personally identifiable information when their transactions exceed a certain threshold. Moreover, the crypto exchange launched PDAX Prime, a new exclusive service dedicated to Filipino crypto investors, which will allow and empower cryptocurrency holders in the Philippines and onboard more Filipinos into the crypto space.
