NAS Academy, YGG Team Up for Web3 Education
The program of Web3 Metaversity will be led by YGG Pilipinas Country Manager Luis Buenaventura and will be hosted in Nas.io.
Yield Guild Games, a play-to-earn gaming guild, has recently forged a partnership with Nuseir Yassin’s (widely known as Nas Daily) online community platform Nas Academy to launch the online learning platform Web3 Metaversity. The platform aims to educate newly onboarded, crypto newbies and anyone who wants to learn about web3, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and the metaverse as a whole.
The program of Web3 Metaversity will be led by YGG Pilipinas Country Manager Luis Buenaventura and will be hosted in Nas.io, the community learning portal of Nas Academy.

To be able to participate in the program, an applicant must own a YGG Guild Badge NFT—YGG Guild Badge NFT holders are automatically qualified— which will give them access to the Web3 Metaversity’s Discord server and a video library on various Web3 topics. The YGG Guild Badge NFT can be minted for free on the YGG website.
Members of the Metaversity will enjoy privileges such as meeting and interacting with the crypto community within the platform, free courses on Web3 topics needed to land Web3 careers, monthly live events with guest speakers, and weekly live sessions. The special guest speakers include YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon, YGG Pilipinas Minister of Information Celeste Rodriguez, and YGG Head of Esports Mike Ovecka, among others.

Currently, there are 3 upcoming live events slated for September; Community Time hosted by RJ Syed on the 14th, Virtual Launch Party with YGG mentors hosted by Luis Buenaventura on the 21st, and Market Update by RJ Syed on the 28th.
In a media release, they noted that through the partnership YGG will be able to combine its Web3 expertise with Nas Academy’s engaging storytelling and high-quality production to empower communities while giving them the best possible learning experience.
Moreover, they highlighted that with Web3 Metaversity, the YGG community can pursue careers in Web3 through a range of different roles, such as community managers, content creators, cryptocurrency traders, NFT artists, or Web2 specialists in the Web3 space.

The learning platform will be accessible through the Nas.io Web3 Metaversity portal.

Further, Nas Academy Philippines has courses in cryptocurrencies, such as Master Crypto Fundamentals with Luis Buenaventura and Master NFTs with Ben Yu.
