Updated on April 15, 2026 at 11:49am: The article is updated to reflect that the inclusion of QR Ph in Polymarket appears facilitated by a platform called Fun.xyz.

BitPinas has learned that decentralized prediction market Polymarket now supports fiat deposits using QR Ph, a feature facilitated through a third-party payment processor rather than a direct merchant partnership.

Based on the platform’s updated deposit interface, users can now fund their Polymarket accounts directly by selecting the “Use Cash” option. The available QR Ph payment method allows for instant deposits, currently reflecting an $800.00 deposit limit.

Following the feature’s rollout, it was clarified that local payment providers do not have a direct partnership with Polymarket. The fiat-to-crypto conversions and payment routing appear to be facilitated by a third-party wallet infrastructure provider called Fun.xyz, which enables the QR Ph standard to appear as an available payment channel on the platform.

Polymarket, which operates on the Polygon blockchain, allows users to buy and sell shares on the outcomes of future real-world events, including political elections, sports matches, and economic indicators.

Before the addition of these third-party fiat gateways, funding a Polymarket account from the Philippines typically required users to purchase cryptocurrency, such as USDC, on a separate centralized exchange and manually transfer the assets to their Polymarket wallet address.
