October 4, 2019 – Contrary to some posts on the Internet, you don’t actually buy Bitcoins at 7-Eleven in the Philippines. What you actually do is add money/Php/Pesos to a crypto wallet, and from that crypto wallet, you proceed to buy Bitcoin. Below are the deposit and withdrawal fees for every major crypto wallet/exchange in the Philippines.

Coins.ph

Coins.ph has a very detailed Cash In and Cash Out FAQ, with specific (and exact) rates for each option. Always check the app or the Coins.ph website because they regularly update their cash in and cash out options. The same is true with other exchanges and wallets mentioned in this article.

Coins Cash In Fees

Fees on Coins.ph varies between fee and paid and will depend on the amount you intend to cash in. Usually, it’s 2% of  the intended deposit. This number differs depending on the top up partner used.

Depending on the payment method, the minimum and maximum deposit also vary. For example, if  you deposit through Bayad Center, you can do so up to Php 50,000. If you used 7-Elevent, it’s only up to Php 20,000. Take note of these things before going to the place where you will do the deposit.

Overall

As seen from the tables above, there is very little difference with the cash in and cash out fees of the different exchanges. This means it will depend upon the person’s preference which service will they choose. Some exchanges have more convenient cash-in options, some have more banking options, some have value-added services or perhaps another one has more liquidity. Better check each of the exchanges/wallets to find out which you should use.
