TZ APAC and BitPinas are hosting their first developer workshop in the Philippines, an official side event of the Philippine Web3 Festival.
- Learn about blockchain, Tezos, and Tezos smart contract development together with TZ APAC’s Bryan Go and Ivan Larin.
- Hear from our community partners: Web3 Philippines, Ownly, SparkPoint, SparkLearn EdTech.
- Take part in a developer group activity with our partner leads as judges.
- Participants must bring a laptop or tablet that can open the online IDE website.

Workshop Details: Introduction to Tezos Blockchain and Building on Tezos Smart Contracts
- Introduction to Tezos Ecosystem, Resources on Tezos and how to get started to build on Tezos
- A short smart contract workshop to introduce developers on the languages existing on the Tezos blockchain
- A simple workshop on getting started on the SmartPy platform. SmartPy is coded in Python Framework and would require somewhat a basic understanding of programming in Python.

- 6PM – Registration
- 7PM – Introductions from TZ APAC and Community Partners
- 7:30PM – Introduction to Tezos by Ivan Larin
- 8:00PM – Developer Workshop by Bryan Go
- 9:00 PM – Group Activities
- 9:30 PM – Presentation
