CoinEx Concludes University Road Tour in Baguio City
The tour includes a meeting with a Baguio-based web3 entity, attending a community meetup, communicating with the LGU, and the visit to universities.
CoinEx has successfully completed its three-day University Road Show in the City of Pines, Baguio City, the crypto platform announced.
What’s the Significance: According to a media release, the effort brought them a “vibrant and dynamic experience” that strengthened their commitment to foster educational growth and community engagement in the blockchain industry.
What Happened During CoinEx’s University Tour?
Day 1
- A meeting and courtesy call with Bitshares Lab, Inc. (BLINC), a Baguio-based startup that offers blockchain solutions, web development, and design services.
- A tour of the Baguio City Hall and Baguio Smart Office. The web3-focused entities during the community meetup expressed their interest to support Baguio’s initiative to transform into a smart city.
- A visit to the Universities of the Cordilleras (UC). UC is one of CoinEx’s partner educational institutions. The visit was said to create collaborations and academic exchanges.
Day 2
- The local community of CoinEx participated in the Community Call Baguio, an IRL meetup co-presented by BitShares Labs, Solana Superteam PH, Crypto Warriors, SuccessKidSOL, and Kaia.
- CoinEx PH Community Head Dell Omasas also joined a panel discussion during the event, which was about “The Key of Education in Regional Blockchain Communities.”

Day 3
- Students, faculty members, and professionals from different universities in Baguio City attended CoinEx’s presentation at New Rajah Soliman Hotel and Restaurant.
- The CoinEx team introduced CoinEx and presented the opportunities within the crypto industry.
- According to them, the enthusiasm and curiosity of the participants inspired them, as they shared knowledge and explored the future of digital finance with the participants.
- The final stop was at the University of the Cordilleras.
