Paolo Dioquino shared:
“It was something that we were very excited to do overall. It was a great experience because we’re able to meet different people who are interested in learning about the Ethereum ecosystem… We’ve done two events in Manila; one in the 1st quarter, and then in quarter two. So this quarter we wanted to try and reach out to different audiences, and Cebu is one of the big cities in the south… I would say we enjoyed being able to meet new people and being able to connect with builders enthusiasts to get them interested in our events that are coming. Looking forward to seeing them in Thailand in November.”
- Dioquino also does Growth at Pendle Finance and a co-founder of the group DeFi Philippines.
Still, Dioquino mentioned that while the event was a success, there were initial challenges, such as a late start and ensuring all attendees had registered.
- These issues were quickly resolved, and the event proceeded smoothly.
What’s next: ETH63 plans to host more events in other key cities in the Philippines, with North Luzon eyed as the next location.
- The next major event will be Devcon Southeast Asia in Bangkok from November 12-15, 2024.
