XRP meme coins are surging as the Ripple-linked cryptocurrency hits a seven-year high, soaring over 82% this week and 318% this year.

The details:

Meme coin ARMY, inspired by the XRP Army of devoted supporters, led the charge.
- Its market cap skyrocketed from under $1 million on Nov. 26 to over $90 million Sunday before settling at $47 million today, Decrypt has reported.
One ARMY holder turned a $478 investment into $100,000 in realized profits, with $400,000 in unrealized gains, per DEX Screener.

More numbers:

Other tokens like BEAR and MAG have joined ARMY in XRPL’s top 10 meme coins, each with market caps near $30 million.
Despite the hype, XRP meme coin trading volume is modest. ARMY saw $10M in trades over the past 24 hours—far behind the 34 tokens on Solana that hit similar volumes.

What’s next: As regulatory clarity for XRP becomes clearer, so does expectations for the future of Ripple, XRP, and all tokens associated with it.
