Bitcoin in Market Correction

Bitcoin (BTC) has dropped 5.3% in the past 24 hours, trading below $94,000 after coming close to the $100,000 milestone last week.

Profit-taking and a leveraged market have triggered a correction, paring BTC’s weekly gains from over 10% to 3%.

According to data from Coinglass: In the past 24 hours, 179,157 traders were liquidated, the total liquidations come in at $578.92 million.

The largest single liquidation order happened on Binance – BTCUSDT value $4.67M.

Other major tokens including Solana, Dogecoin, and Avalanche dropped by 10% on average.

Insights: As per Coindesk, analysts view the correction—potentially as deep as 10% or down to $92,000—as a “natural phenomenon” linked to leverage overheating. Still:

The Short-Term SOPR (Spent Output Profit Ratio) indicates short-term holders selling at a loss could lead to a rebound.
Stablecoin inflows into Binance suggest continued bullish sentiment, according to Ruslan Lienkha of YouHodler.
Analysts predict a potential breakout to $120,000–$130,000 if BTC surpasses the $100,000 resistance.

Caution: Market volatility is expected to remain high, with BTC trading in overbought conditions.
