Feature News: Solana Breakpoint Announcements

Breakpoint had a very different vibe from Token2049. Whereas Token was very professional, the Solana event had a more grassroots feel to it.

And perhaps in line with the blockchain’s modular feature, everything is happening one place – Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. There were two stages, two exhibition halls, and one large room sponsored by DRiP where people can co work.

I left my bag in the DRiP room at length. It was still there, in the same place where I left, when I returned.

We will have another article at Breakpoint but for now, let’s check some of the biggest news from the conference:

Coins.ph announces Philippine stablecoin launch on Solana. (We have an article about this today.)
Firedancer client is live on the mainnet.
Jupiter has a lot of announcements, including Jupiter Mobile app whjich hjas 0% swap fees.
New phone called Solana Seeker.
Phantom launched an embedded wallet that users can log in using email.
Citibank is looking to utilize Solana for fund transfers.
Iggy Azalea announced MOTHERLAND, which is an online casino and gaming platform powered by $MOTHER token.
Franklin Templeton is planning to launch mutual funds on Solana.
Powerledger is expanding to Solana mainnet.
Sling Money will allow users to load, send, and receive stablecoins in Sling to and from other wallets or exchanges.
Finally, the next Solana Breakpoint is happening in Abu Dhabi from December 11 – 13, 2025.
