Metacon PH is the Online Metaverse Conference for Brands in the Philippines

Digital 1st’s SVEN, a local digital agency, is set to launch Metacon PH, the first-ever online Metaverse conference in the country made for brands. The event, which will go live on July 28-29, 2022, is set to serve as an avenue for brands to experience and explore the Metaverse.

The two-day conference will host several talks from Metaverse speakers from a wide array of backgrounds, industries, and experiences, including the digital 1st teams, various agencies and brands, and local and international experts on Metaverse scenes.

With the growing interest of Filipinos in Metaverse, SVEN’s CEO and Chief Tech Geek Arvi Villacin describes Metacon PH as a “practical immersion into the Metaverse” for local brands and companies in the country. This is reflective of their ambition to be a digital platform for local players to share their discoveries and showcase their innovations with the Filipinos, 

“We want to inspire brands to take action by tackling the infinite meta-possibilities that can be explored while equipping everyone with what they need to know so they can make the right meta-related decisions and truly be Digital 1st in this new digital frontier,” he added.

At the conference, the participants will expect the following events which will feature four primary universes covering the different corners of the metaverse:

  • In the 1st Universe, Metaverse, the Basics will offer brands an introduction to anything and everything about the Metaverse, from basic terminologies to the technologies and platforms involved. 
  • In the 2nd Universe, Brandverse, brands that are already in the Metaverse will show participating brands the current scope of what has been done in the Metaverse, what brands can do, and what awaits if they join.
  • In the 3rd Universe, Communityverse, communities in the Metaverse will highlight the different communities which have brought success to the Metaverse and contributed to what makes it what it is in the present. 
  • In the 4th Universe, On-Ground, SVEN will lead the “Insights to Guide Your Metaverse Decisions” where they will present their key findings on how Filipinos’ perceptions of digital have changed throughout the times.

 “Ultimately, our goal is to make the Philippines Southeast Asia’s – or perhaps even the world’s – inspiration for brand success in the metaverse,” Arvi shares as SVEN express their excitement about the possibilities once metaverse knowledge is introduced for PH brands.
