How to Pay Traveloka using Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency
Traveloka is an Indonesian-based company that provides its users with airline ticketing and hotel booking online. It was established in February 2012 and initially a site to compare airline tickets. During the mid-2013, its users can now reserve a ticket and by July 2014 up to the present, users can now do both.
In this article, we will teach you an additional payment method that will let you complete the payment without using a credit card, debit cards, or any mobile banking. This is how to pay Traveloka using bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

How to pay Traveloka without doing any card transactions or other payment options other than with bitcoin and cryptocurrency? It’s easy, you don’t even need to register an account to the site.
What you’ll need:
- Active Coins.ph account (Register here!)
- Peso/bitcoin/bitcoin cash/ethereum/ripple balance
- Traveloka website (https://www.traveloka.com/)
Step 1: Go to Traveloka site
Go to the Traveloka website. There is no need to register for an account. Choose whether to look for Flights or Hotels. For the sake of this article, we chose hotels and the destination is Bangkok, Thailand. Answer the important details such as the number of Guest(s) and Room(s), Check-in, and Duration. Click on Search Hotels once you’ve completed the necessary details.
Step 2: Choose your hotel
After clicking on the Search Hotels, it will direct you to a list of hotels. Feel free to check all the options such as Budget, Luxury, Riverside, Hostel, Xtra Deals, and Near BTS Stations.
After choosing your hotel, choose your preferred room, and click on Book now!
Step 3: Book your hotel
Fill out all necessary information, check the price details and click on Continue to Review. On this next page, make sure that all information is correct and once you’re all good, click on Continue to Payment.
Step 4: Payment
On this page, the system may automatically put you on the Credit/Debit Card option so choose Over-the-Counter. You will see the Coins.ph logo, scroll down and click on Pay with Over-the-Counter.
Click on Pay with Coins.ph. It will ask you to sign-in to your Coins.ph account. You will need your registered and verified account from Coins.ph, log in using your Coins.ph email (or phone number) and password.
After you’ve successfully logged in, make sure you have enough funds to cover the entire amount. You can either use your Bitcoin wallet or your Peso wallet. If you have funds in your ETH, BCH, or XRP make sure to convert it to PHP or BTC first. Click on Pay xxxxx PHP once done and you’re good to go.
Traveloka will send you a confirmation text and email about your hotel booking that will include important details about your hotel booking.
