    • In an official customer security update, the bank stated that it successfully corrected “every peso” of the affected transactions over the weekend and that customers have confirmed their restored balances.
    • The digital bank also maintained that its overall funds and data are completely secure, although its InstaPay and PESONet services remain temporarily paused to finalize system checks.
  • Despite the bank’s assurances, numerous users continue to report significant access issues and missing funds.
    • In response to the bank’s update, clients flooded the comments section stating they still cannot log into the official application or access their funds through the GCash GSave interface.
    • Several users, citing balances of up to PHP 500,000, expressed mounting frustration over their inability to withdraw their money and have threatened to pull their funds entirely once access is restored.
    • Some users have even tagged the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and local news outlets to intervene.

In its initial customer advisory, the bank confirmed it is currently investigating an issue involving InstaPay transactions. The digital bank stated that any identified “unauthorized transactions” will be corrected and resolved within the day. The institution also assured its clients that their funds are safe and secure.

In a subsequent update, UNO Digital Bank announced that its team has been actively working on the reported InstaPay concerns. The bank noted that corrections are currently being processed and are expected to be completed within a 24-hour timeframe.

UNO Digital Bank reiterated that customer funds remain secure and stated it will provide another update once the issue has been fully resolved.

UNO Digital Bank is one of the original six digital banks formally licensed and regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). The central bank recently said it is looking to approve up to four additional digital banks to operate within the country.
