Job Description

The successful candidate will join an interoperable, multi-game, multi-genre, GameFi NFT project. The D.G.Verse is a multifaceted vision that supports an entire ecosystem on its own. From indie developers to gamers, investors, influencers, streamers or competitive players, each has a significant role in the D.G.Verse to invest themselves in and everyone in this metaverse can play and enjoy it.

We are looking for a Community Moderator to join our team and will be working closely with the marketing/communications and community management team of the project. As this is a remote role, you will not be required to report to the office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage our public Discord server.
Engage daily with community members on both Discord to understand community sentiment and collect feedback to share with the wider team, this includes technical issue handling and feedback.
Take any new initiatives from the Community Managers and implement on the discord server,and report any potential issues or feedback during your shift.
Coordinate with the product and marketing teams, to establish a regular cadence of announcements, promotions and giveaways.
Set goals for, track and report on community-related metrics ensuring upwards visibility as well as helping inform on metrics’ significance.
Schedule, manage and promote events on Discord.
Monitor, log, and track the Ambassador/Alphabassador contribution and provide reports to the Community Managers
Build relationships with community members, industry professionals and onboard new members/roles.
Respond to comments and community member queries in a timely manner, and escalate to the Community Managers if required

Requirements:

An intimate understanding of the web3 and NFT ecosystem. Further knowledge of social, casual games are a plus.
Familiar or with background on Blockchain, Crypto, NFT.
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English.
Proven ability to lead and manage large communities.
An independent, responsible and highly organized way of working, a creative way to engage and solve challenges.
Confidence in dealing with a heated atmosphere and challenging situations based on your excellent team player qualities. Not taking player complaints personally.
A self-starter who thrives on fast-paced, iterative learning-by-doing.
Intrinsic desire to work with a dedicated and mission-driven team whose values are similar to yours.
Ability to work and maintain presence on Discord throughout the whole week to assist and manage the community.
Enforce the rules of the server
Be fun and helpful
Candidates will be expected to moderate the discord server during the North American day time hours.

Bonus:

At least one (1) year of established online community management experience in an environment managing a consumer-focused Discord community
Experience with advanced Discord management features including bots, token gating, live event management, etc.
Experience with customer service.
A strong secondary skill set like photo/video editing.
Ability to speak another language, other than English
Shift work will be required across different time zones
