Mission:

The role will cover the full spectrum of People Operations, including leadership of all functions including Human Resources (HR), Compliance, Talent Acquisition and Workplace.

Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and group leadership team, you will lead and execute BlockchainSpace’s organization development strategy and continue to strengthen high workforce engagement outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • People operations: own all people operations processes including performance review cycles; on/offboarding; compensation and benefits administration; legal and regulatory compliance as it relates to employment, etc., and as we scale to ensure that we evolve our processes appropriately.
  • Employee development and retention: develop and execute all learning and development initiatives and help drive a high-performance, high-growth mindset that focuses on career development and growth.
  • Recruiting and talent acquisition: leading a team of talent acquisition specialists/manager, to run our recruiting and talent acquisition activities including defining and implementing strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent across the company with a focus on building a diverse and inclusive team.
  • Cultural champion: be a champion of our culture, helping the team understand and live our core values through effective programs that promote morale while achieving our company goals.
  • Trusted advisor: be the trusted advisor to the C-Suite and Department Leads, holding all managers to a high-quality standard. Engage staff regularly to ensure individuals and teams are performing well and are motivated.
  • Change management: Plan, develop and implement HR continuous improvement activities and get organization-wide support.

Requirements & Skills:

  • 10+ years of business and operational experience with exposure to the full range of HR functions. Experience in the Crypto or Blockchain industry will be an added advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in people leadership and managing high performing teams
  • Ability to think from first principles and put processes and structure from scratch
  • Passionate about people development and culture and a resourceful problem solver
  • Strong knowledge of Singaporean labor laws, compliance, regulation as well as best practices around People operations.
  • Exposure to international markets and jurisdictions preferred.
  • Savvy with people data reporting and analytics to drive actionable insights
  • Commercial acumen – able to manage commercial problems through identifying creative people solutions
  • An excellent project manager with a proven ability to design and implement people operations strategies that drive business results.
  • A natural coach and mentor with an ability to foster relationships with all levels of the team, to relate well with others, to listen effectively, and to help employees at all levels achieve their development goals.
  • Ability to business partner with Department Leads and key business stakeholders in any HR related matters.
