Junior Community Manager (Crypto Game) – Laguna Games

Community Managers are in-charge of engaging users and addressing users through support tickets, user reviews, and/or through official community pages. Community Managers represent the game’s brand, acting as the bridge between the game’s users and its business end. They are responsible for growing, maintaining and activating the communities for their respective projects.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the official representative of the game’s brand to users – keeping up with the latest of both internal and external information concerning the game, the company, and the crypto space
- Officially communicate major news, updates and activities with the users through notices and announcements
- Propose community activities and content for the purpose of user acquisition, user retention, and user care
- Create, schedule and publish written and graphic content for the community in accordance with the company and the project’s brand and style
- Maintain the social network presence of the company and the project on all official platforms
- Maintain the company’s forum and encourage users to participate in the governance process
- Communicate any trending issues or foreseen risks to the Community Manager to have them addressed as soon as possible
- Collect and organize data/feedback of all handled user inquiries and issues, and deriving possible risks, solutions, and improvement opportunities
- Keep up-to-date with the latest information and trends in the crypto gaming space to be able to advise and assist players accurately
- Anticipate user concerns and find solutions to these concerns
- Provide quality support assistance and issue resolution to all users within the community with emphasis (but not limited to) Discord, Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, Telegram correspondence
- Maintain up-to-date guides, FAQ articles and other public documents within the community
- Draft, review and enforce community policies within the community, and if applicable, suggestion changes to the benefit of the project
- Act as moderator in all existing and future communities with emphasis (but not limited to) Discord, Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, Telegram, and Forum.
- Maintain and operate third-party community pages associated with the project
- Provide insight and analysis regarding the project’s market status and competitors through periodically delivered reports or through direct communication.
- Establish and grow new communities for the project or the company
- Perform other assigned value-adding duties related to the project or the company
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills with a fluent level of written English.
- Experience and knowledge of the crypto space with a focus on crypto games
- Organizational skills to maintain accompanying work documentation and records.
- Discord/Reddit/Telegram/Twitter experience operating bots to assist with automation and moderation
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment
- Ability to work on shifting schedule (including weekends, evenings, and holidays)
- Ability to start immediately
Advantages:
- Prior experience working within the game industry or game service industry
- Prior experience playing crypto games
- Familiarity with Photoshop, Canva or other relevant media editing software
- Familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software
- Strong inclination to popular internet community culture, with at least one (1) year of active participation in any community page/forum or social media site.
- Experience providing support through any of the social media platforms
- Technical knowledge in the crypto/blockchain space
