OpenSeason, an Ethereum-based web3 game that is often compared to Fortnite, confirmed that it is giving away $FU to holders of Fractional Uprising Studios NFT, which are collectibles required to play the game.

OpenSeason is a third-person battle royale game where players must compete to be the last person standing in a dynamically shrinking play area.
- The game is currently in its early access version and is available on Epic Games Store.
- To play, players must own a Fractional Uprising Studios NFT.
What is $FU?
- On June 11, 2024, Fractional Uprising Studios, the game’s developer, confirmed that $FU was successfully deployed on Ethereum with the address 0x43Df01681966D5339702E96eF039E481b9DA20c1.
- According to the game developer, they see $FU as a “mullet token,” which is a combination of a utility token and a memecoin.
- Aside from the airdrop, the game studio expressed that $FU could be earned by skilled players and community builders.
- The initial token price will be 0.0000022 $ETH/$FU, or $0.0077 per $FU, with a Fully Diluted Market Cap of ~$5 million.

- For this current campaign, the snapshot for NFT owners has already been taken.
- There are no tasks to do, qualified holders must wait for $FU rewards to be loaded into their wallets.
- 10% of the total token supplies, or 62.1 million tokens, will be distributed for this campaign.
- Players should also take note that the initial $FU rewards are on Arbitrum with address 0x9aee3C99934C88832399D6C6E08ad802112eBEab.
However: The game developers expressed that the current campaign is not the last $FU airdrop.
- Once the beta version has been launched, the game will give away game access codes to players where they can invite new players, earn beans, and convert them into $FU.
- Beans are in-game items that serve as in-game off-chain tokens. There are different bean multipliers according to a player’s rank.
