TZ APAC Launches Season 2 of TZ Apex with Higher Rewards

 With up to $10,000-worth of prize pool, the second season is expected to have a “bigger impact” on the Tezos ecosystem.

After introducing in June the first season of TZ Apex, a community rewards program initiative for the Tezos ecosystem, Singapore-based Tezos hub TZ APAC has announced the second season, which “promises bigger rewards with higher impact.” (Check out the quests here!)

What’s the Significance: Bigger reward pool for this campaign means more participants and Tezos enthusiasts that can earn potential airdrop. 

What’s With TZ Apex?

• It runs in seasons, where each season lasts for a month only. 
• TZ Apex implements a tier system, where the higher the tier, the greater the rewards. 
• It also follows a points system, each point is called “EXP.”
• To collect EXPs, participants must finish the quests listed:
  • Project-specific quests: Quests that require interaction with the partner project, like creating an account on its platform, trying its features and submitting feedback, or even creating a user-generated event.
  • Tezos-ecosystem quests: These are social tasks that will focus on developing the Tezos blockchain.
• The rewards include:
  • Tezos token, $XTZ
  • TZ APAC exclusive merchandise
  • Partnered project’s NFT, tokens, whitelist, and more
  • TZ APAC Collaboration NFTs
  • Bonus EXPs for next season.

What’s New With TZ Apex Season 2? 

Tier System: The qualifications and rewards per tier were adjusted. Consequently, only one participant can be on the top spot of the leaderboard, where that participant’s reward will depend on what they will choose.

• Rewards: For this season, the rewards will be:

Similar to the first season, quests on the second season will be given by the partnered dapps and projects within the Tezos Ecosystem.

• In Season 1, there were social tasks that were aimed to promote Tezos. 
• For Season 2, TZ APAC wrote that there will be “Secret Quests” that will be revealed throughout the campaign that will be revealed on their X account. 
• There are no hints yet what these quests will be all about, but doing these quests will bring a “massive EXP boost,” the entity emphasized.
