BAT, OMG, More ERC-20 Tokens to be Added to eToro’s Crypto Platform

July 4, 2019 – Social Trading Platform eToro announces it is adding ERC-20 tokens to its cryptocurrency exchange eToroX.

eToro said in a press release that the following ERC-20 tokens are now added to eToroX:

• Basic Attention Token (BAT)
• Maker (MKR)
• OmiseGo (OMG)
• eToro USDX
• eToro EURX

eToro said they are planning to add 120 ERC-20 tokens to the platform. In a statement, eToroX Managing Director Doron Rosenblum said adding these tokens is proof of eToro’s commitment to their belief that in the future, all investable assets will be tokenized.

These tokens will also be available on the eToro wallet available on both the App Store and Google Play.

In a previous report, Paul Familiaran, head of the Southeast Asia Region at eToro explains that eToro and eToroX being regulated entities are primary reasons why users should use both platforms. He explains the concept of copytrading, a feature in eToro where users can copy top popular investors on their investing strategies.

eToro is one of the first companies in the world to secure a license for cryptoassets. When asked about future cash-in and cash-out options in the Philippines, Mr. Familiaran said that those will first be subject to several regulatory requirements but admits they are “currently reviewing several options”.
