Manny Pacquiao Launches Cryptocurrency Pac Coin After Major Concert

Pac Coin or Pac Token will be listed on Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) which also produced the concert.

September 2, 2019 – Boxing Superstar and Philippine Senator launched his very own cryptocurrency Pac Coin in a free concert in Manila set to let fans become aware in the product.

Pac Coin or Pac Token will be listed on Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) which also produced the concert. GCOX positions itself as a cryptocurrency exchange where celebrities can launch their own tokens. These tokens can then be exchanged for the celebrity’s merchandise or be used by the user in exchange for the celebrity interacting with them online. GCOX counts England football star Michael Owen also as an investor along with Mr. Pacquiao.

Other celebrities planning to launch their own cryptocurrencies with GCOX alongside Mr. Pacquiao and Mr. Owen are singer Jason Derulo and Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki.

At this point, it will take a while for such token to be registered in the Philippines because of current uncertainties in regulations; the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is yet to released final rules on initial coin offerings (ICO) and digital asset exchanges (DAE). However, it is clear that the concert is meant to drive interest in Pac Coins. Report from GMA News confirms an attendee wanting to check Pac Coins and GCOX after they became aware of them during the concert.
