Marvel and The Simpsons Talks Bitcoin, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrency
Marvel Comics and The Simpsons are talking about bitcoin, blockchain, and cryptocurrency in their own way.
The Simpsons
The Simpsons added a new quest in its popular mobile freemium game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out.
In the quest, Crypto Cool,ย Martin talks about blockchain and mentions it a zillion times. He later admitted to hearing about blockchain a week ago .
Another point in the quest is when Martin mined some bitcoins using his computer and bragged that its value went through the roof. To finish the quest, players are asked to get three other characters to mine bitcoins using their own devices.
This is not the first time The Simpsons talks about bitcoin. As far back as 1997, the animated sitcom depicted a store called Crypto Barn, A Place for Codes.
In 2013, Krusty answered Lisa’s inquiry on why he’s broke by saying โall it takes is bad luck at the ponies, worse luck in the bitcoin marketsโฆโ.ย In 2014, the sitcomโs bully, Jimbo Jones is advertising his bullying services and saying that he accepts bitcoin as payments.
Other shows such as the Family Guy, Supernatural, The Good Wife, House of Cards, Almost Human, Designated Survivor, and Person of Interest also mention bitcoin in one or more of their episodes.

Marvel Comics released Hunt for Wolverine โ Adamantium Agenda issue and it mentioned cryptocurrency.
In Hunt for Wolverine – Adamantium Agenda, Logan, who, after saving New York City, from being hit by a bomb, is nowhere to be found. Iron Man, Spider Man, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage join in for the adventure.
In this issue, without giving out too much, Tony Stark is having some dealings with the โtypicalโ type of characters. In this case, he wonโt use unmarked cash but will use cryptocurrency to seal the deal.
