The non-fungible token (NFT) collection of the popular comedy group “The KoolPals,” “Thanks, Haters! NFT,” is currently the top one and best seller token in the celebrity and influencer-focused mobile NFT platform Stanible.
The “Thanks, Haters! NFT”
Released on February 13, 2023, each token in the collection was made by creatively transforming hateful comments into 3D head figures, which received significant attention from fans and NFT enthusiasts. (Check out the KoolPals NFTs here.)
The collection is made up of five tokens; Labrador na Mukhang Pug, Budget Jack Sparrow, Mayaman na Troll, Damulag, and Liit Utak.
Each NFT is sold for 1,500 Stan hearts, Stanible’s in-app currency, which has a one-is-to-one value with the Philippine peso. The collectibles have a maximum quantity of 300 pieces each.
In a media release, the comedy group stated that the NFTs have garnered the most views and achieved the highest value sales on the platform.
“My message sa haters ng KoolPals—tuloy niyo lang ‘yan. The wittier, the better. Cute din yung mga NFT nila so galingan niyo,” one of the NFT holders shared.
Holders of these NFTs enjoy exclusive benefits such as VIP backstage passes, meet-and-greet opportunities, and access to KoolPals’ events and merchandise.
GIGIL Metama, GIGIL Agency Philippines’ tech arm, is the creative force behind the development of these unique NFTs based on selected remarks from the group’s social media profiles.
Recently, Metama also helped Filipino rock band Moonstar88 release its first album in ten years, Lourdes 2088, which also integrated NFTs.
What is Stanible?
Stanible is a mobile NFT platform that allows fans to buy and sell non-fungible token collectibles of their idolized celebrities and influencers. The app is accessible to the public and offers a user-friendly experience, allowing users to engage with NFTs without needing a crypto wallet.
Last February, it had its launch event called “One Night Stan,” which featured performances and collectible drops by popular content creators such as Macoy Dubs and Turing.
Currently, the Stanible app offers collectibles from celebrities and creators like Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, Bianca Umali, and Arci Muñoz, with more artists expected to join in the future. The app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Recently, Stanible was announced as the only gateway to the upcoming Chicosci Summer Party that will feature prominent OPM artists headlined by Chicosci, Rico Blanco, rising artist Zild Benitez, and indie band Fragments. Fans will only be able to attend the event by buying the NFT ticket available on the Stanible app.
