MMORPG NFT Game ‘Oath of Peak’ on Polygon Achieves 300K Pre-Registered Players

• Bybit-backed GameFi platform Yeeha Games has released its first-ever MMORPG NFT game, “Oath of Peak.” This is the second NFT game released by Yeeha Games, the first one was launched last year, “Midgard Saga,” a strategy-focused role-playing game.
• According to Yeeha Games, the game has garnered 300,000 pre-registered players and an impressive number of favorable reviews.
• There were 10,000 starting NFTs available for its early access launch. 5,000 are Genesis Kiufeng Primordial Spirit Beasts (PSBs) and the other 5,000 are Genesis Huodou. 

Bybit-backed GameFi platform Yeeha Games recently released another non-fungible token (NFT) game called Oath of Peak, the platform’s first massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). 

“The game’s closed beta received an impressive number of favorable reviews, and over 300,000 pre-registered players are anticipating today’s launch,” Yeeha Games shared.

For this launch, the platform clarified that a total of 10,000 NFTs will be made available, of which 5,000 are Genesis Kiufeng Primordial Spirit Beasts (PSBs) and the other 5,000 are Genesis Huodou. 

The PSBs are the NFTs of Oath of Peak and will serve as a “skin” for the gamer’s character called “Spirit Benders” that journeys across the Omnispirit Realm, “a world full of wonders and fantastical creatures like Spirit Beasts that roam the land.“ A skin changes the appearance of characters in video games.

Moreover, Yeeha Games also noted that, based on the type and gender, players can use PSBs to breed even more PSBs. The newly bred PSBs can then be sold or traded on the secondary market.

“We wanted to create a fun experience that we would be proud to play ourselves, as passionate MMORPG players. We chose to implement some blockchain technology as it enabled the game to be more interactive, and feel more immersive,” said Grant Zhang, the game lead for Oath of Peak, adding that the game is one of the most ambitious gaming projects in web3 to date, with more than $20 million invested into developing the core gameplay alone.

The game can be downloaded on the Google Play Store, the Apple App Store, and even on PC, but the game’s early access is reserved for Android only. For interested players, instructions on how to play the game can be accessed here.

Last year, Yeeha Games also launched its first GameFi game, Midgard Saga, a strategy-focused role-playing game (RPG).
