The long wait is over!
Yield Guild Games, a Filipino-led gaming gield is finally launching the very first season of YGG Managers Cup (YMC), a series of exhibition matches for a cause, today, October 31st.
The event, which was announced earlier this week, will exhibit different guilds represented by a team of their most exceptional players.
“We’re thrilled to announce the very first season of YMC that will bring together guilds from all over the world to both have fun and offer a helping hand to those in need,” said YGG Country Manager Luis Buenaventura, as the game aims to give entertainment, which will be delivered through the showcase of sportsmanship, and aid for the disadvantaged youth affected by the pandemic and natural calamities.
In the first season of YMC, the audience will witness an exhibition match between the two biggest gaming guilds in the Philippines, YGG and Axies Alert PH. The winning team will move on to the next level of the event where they will compete with another challenger.
“Despite all unfortunate circumstances that Filipinos braved this year, the whole YGG community feels like we can do anything because everyone is willing to pitch in for the youth and their kababayans,” Buenaventura concluded.
YMC is co-sponsored by YGG and Binance Charity, with suppory coming from Axie Infinity and Axies Alert PH. YMC has raised over a million pesos in donations.
Furthermore, YGG also created a RONIN wallet as a supplementary measure to encourage donations in the form of Smooth Love Potion (SLP) from the community.
Meanwhile, content creators and gaming enthusiasts who will help YGG to disseminate the announcement of its upcoming clean stream will be awarded with premium YGG merch packages in addition to social media promotion a week after every stream.
