According to an executive, Meta will instead focus on creating opportunities for content creators and online businesses who want to earn.
The Meta Verified feature will provide a badge indicating a verified account, direct access to customer support, and greater visibility
Currently, the platform supports connections with third-party wallets including Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet and Dapper Wallet.
However, several creators in the Philippines reported that the feature is not yet available locally.
Facebook users will now be able to create custom NFT posts, with a โDigital Collectibleโ tag.
Mosseri noted that there will be no fees associated with posting or sharing a digital collectible on Instagram.
