I do not think we were on the last leg. I think we were rocketing up. I think and feel that we still have a big way to go.

EveryX CEO Hayate Matts said this in direct response to the webcast’s title question during the September 24, 2025 episode of the BitPinas Webcast, which also featured Steve “Icesteam” Jimenez as co-guest and BitPinas Editor-in-Chief Michael Mislos as host.

Are We Really in the Last Leg of the 2025 Bull Run?

Jimenez echoed the same sentiment, noting that based on previous market cycles, crypto investors may still have opportunities to take profits before the year ends.

“It is not bad to take profit. If it goes up, then it is fine. We are just going to ride again another dip.”

However, Jimenez cautioned that the current market could still deviate from previous cycles, as today’s narrative leans more toward institutional adoption, with governments exploring blockchain use cases and some countries even establishing Bitcoin reserves.

Discussing altcoins, or cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin, Matts said that as long as Bitcoin maintains strong backing, altcoins are also likely to remain resilient, leaving room for another potential altcoin rally.

“If BTC has a stronger support level than the previous cycles, I think there is a reason to think that other altcoins do as well. I feel that the bitcoin price will just momentarily hit the bottom: you cannot really go too low with bitcoin anymore.”

Jimenez added that decentralized exchange (DEX) tokens appear to be the current market trend, noting how the momentum began with Hyperliquid’s HYPE token and is now being followed by the rally of ASTER, the token of the Binance-backed Aster platform

Is There a Chance That the Market Will Experience a Sudden Downturn?

The answer, according to both guests, is yes.

Jimenez outlined two possible scenarios that could turn the current bullish market bearish:

  • A major geopolitical conflict, similar to the Russia–Ukraine war in 2022, which could disrupt global markets and investor sentiment.
  • The U.S. government selling off its cryptocurrency holdings, a move that would signal waning confidence in the long-term profitability of digital assets.

“Those are the two things that I consider that would change to bearish, but of course, I do not have a future idea, so I always try to look at the past. So, it is actually every four years.”

Meanwhile, Matts pointed out that the market could also shift if certain countries decide to offload their cryptocurrency holdings.

He added that questions about future market direction can often be explored through prediction platforms like EveryX, where community sentiment and collective market expectations are reflected.

Why is Prediction Market Important?

According to Matts, the rise of prediction markets is “exciting” because it removes the need to depend on so-called “black box analysts” or traditional survey groups to gauge market sentiment.

“When you want to know what the odds are or who’s favored in an election, what the orthodox way is is to take a survey of a thousand houses on the phone to ask whether they favor this candidate or the other candidate. And that has been the conventional way of doing it.

However, right now, especially in the U.S., nobody uses that. Everybody cites Polymarket, everybody cites Kalshi, and this is becoming the conventional way.”

Jimenez expanded on Matts’ point, explaining that prediction markets differ from traditional analysis because analysts typically rely solely on their own assessments, while prediction markets incorporate crowd sentiment and collective insights from actual participants.

“What we are doing in EveryX is when you do trade with us, you are providing people crowd sentiments and data. Most likely, it has weighed on it because people actually put money on it: that is how predictions market works.”

For Jimenez, a predictions market is more reliable because when someone puts money on something, it gives value to the sentiment.

What Makes EveryX Unique?

Matts stressed that though there is a volume of interest in esports, there are only a few prediction markets about the competitive gaming category.

“We are trying to strengthen this part by tagging with other e-sports communities and teams to host their own co-hosted tournaments as well.

I am so very excited about esports gaming and our own hosted tournaments and games and activations that we want to do.”

Jimenez then explained that through the events in EveryX, users can vote on which side to vote for.

“We have an AI to study the market, and then it has an algorithm and then dictates the odds at first. When people come in, then that is when the sentiments happen. People can buy both yes and no. But we have a place measure that you could not do that simultaneously because it will disrupt the actual truth of the data.”

But aside from being a predictions market specializing in esports, Matts highlighted that personalized questions are also welcome in EveryX for every targeted community.

EveryX in PH

“Other countries are coming in, but right now we are very focused on the Philippines and our great community right now. Currently, we are doing live events in the Philippines. We are going to have around one to two real-life events.”

Hayate Matts, Chief Executive Officer, EveryX

Jimenez echoed this, adding that EveryX is currently partnering with small communities to do their mini tournaments in their community.

“I think there is a community that’s actually doing trading and also playing esports or MOBA, like their ML tournament, HOK, Dota, and LOL. We can host that on EveryX and then they can vote on which team they believe will succeed.”

Steve “Icesteam” Jimenez, Country Manager, EveryX

Jimenez also shared that upcoming activities on EveryX may include cross-community events, real-world prediction contests, and partnerships with gaming guilds to integrate prediction markets into their tournaments.

Wen EveryX Token?

“For now, we do not have any token.”

Jimenez explained that there is no use case applicable at the moment that would justify a utility token.

Instead, he explained that USDT can be used in the platform and the asset can be transferred using Polygon or BNB Chain.
