Bitgetās Blockchain4Youth Education Program Celebrates First Year With 6,000 Learners
Blockchain4Youth, a web3 education movement initiated by the international exchange Bitget, has completed its first year. The program, which started in May 2023, aims to foster blockchain adoption among young generations.
The initiative is inspired by a significant study conducted over six months, involving 255,000 respondents from 26 countries, revealed that 46% of millennials are actively engaged with cryptocurrencies, highlighting their potential to lead in blockchain technology adoption.

Blockchain4Youth Anniversary
In its first year, the Blockchain4Youth program has reached over 6,000 learners and established partnerships with numerous universities worldwide.
The program’s activities include workshops, collaborative projects, and strategic partnerships with more than 50 universities, such as the National Technological University in Argentina, the National Taiwan University Blockchain Society in Taiwan, and the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. These efforts aim to provide accessible and impactful learning about crypto and blockchain.

Additionally, the program has hosted 50 campus lectures, offering students opportunities to learn about blockchain technology. These initiatives have resulted in the issuance of 2,000 Bitget-issued certificates.
Efforts over the past year have focused on making blockchain education hands-on and applicable to real-world situations. Participants engaged in interactive sessions, discussions with industry experts, and events like hackathons that emphasized practical problem-solving skills within the blockchain ecosystem.




What is Next for Blockchain4Youth Movement?
Bitget plans to offer more scholarships and initiatives to make blockchain technology accessible to everyone. Over the next few months, new online courses taught by blockchain-focused mentors are expected to launch. Additionally, several campus events worldwide are anticipated, aiming to influence youth and broaden the program’s impact.
Gracy Chen, the managing director of Bitget, noted that the momentum built this year is set to elevate the initiatives to greater heights. The commitment to blockchain education continues, focusing on providing educational courses, offering more scholarships, enhancing accessibility, and developing new online courses in collaboration with leading blockchain experts.

Launched in 2023 with $10 million in funding until 2028, Blockchain4Youth shares Bitget’s fundamental philosophy of promoting web3 adoption and inspiring individuals to embrace crypto and blockchain. The project believes a blockchain-based future is crucial for catalyzing new solutions and encouraging people to engage with this emerging technology.
In addition to campus lectures, hackathons, and meetups, Blockchain4Youth offers a self-paced online course covering the fundamentals of blockchain technology, its various applications, and potential impact on industries and society. Upon completing the three modules of the course, participants receive a certificate of completion from Bitget Academy.
