“It takes place on June 4th and 5th at the SMX Convention Center, the same venue as last year. We’re going to have a huge, grandiose, two-floor expo. If you’ve ever been to AIBC events before, you probably know that this is a joint event we co-hosted with Sigma event, which is the biggest, I think, international platform for players in the gaming and iGaming industries.”

The AIBC Summit is a premier global event focusing on emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and other advanced tech sectors.

It aims to bring together industry leaders, innovators, and experts to discuss developments, trends, and future directions in these fields through conferences, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. The summit aims to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and business development within the tech community.

Intersection of Sports, AI, and Web3

During the interview, Yaroshevsky shared the upcoming trends to be addressed at the AIBC Summit, emphasizing the importance of exploring the intersection of web3 and traditional sports.

“One of the things that I am personally most excited about is the new track for AIBC that I introduced in Dubai this year in February. I’m giving it a big push for AIBC Manila, it is about web3 and traditional sports. This is something that I think deserves more attention, especially at the events, because there are no particular events where people come together to talk about how technology, in particular, web3 solutions, disrupts the world of traditional sports.”

She highlights the inclusion of panels featuring sports celebrities discussing how technology disrupts and enhances sports. She mentioned that Jared Dillinger, along with his Let It Fly Podcast co-hosts and George Wong from Sandbox, will discuss how gaming, the metaverse, and web3 solutions are merging with traditional sports.

Additionally, the president and CEO of the United City Football Club in the Philippines will talk about partnerships with companies like Blocksport, highlighting the use of web3 solutions to enhance fan engagement and infrastructure.

Other AIBC Topics

Furthermore, she mentioned that unlike the previous year, a Commissioner from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will not be in attendance. Nevertheless, she affirmed that the AIBC Summit will address several fresh trends in finance and cryptocurrency. These encompass exchange-traded funds (ETFs), tokenization of real-world assets, the practical applications of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the rise of Telegram applications, and novel web applications that bolster financial platforms.

In addition, the summit will highlight discussions on artificial intelligence and blockchain, emphasizing the event’s commitment to exploring cutting-edge topics. Moreover, Yaroshevsky noted that trends like quantum computing will also be discussed, along with practical AI solutions for businesses.

The event will also include investor discussions on the viability of investing in emerging technologies and startup pitch competitions, including those centered on AI startups.

“Of course, apart from all of that, we’re going to have a lot of investors at the venue and on stage who will speak about whether all of these technologies, all of these solutions, are worth investing into. And we will have a bunch of startups from the Philippines and globally.”
