The scam appears to involve unauthorized GCash’s ‘send to many’ transaction feature.

GCash emphasized that the incident was isolated and affected only a limited number of users.

The company stated that they have identified and reached out to the impacted accounts, and wallet adjustments are currently underway to resolve any discrepancies.
