The big trend: Tapswap and Yescoin are not the first to launch tokens on TON.
- In May 2024, Notcoin distributed $TON to their players who mined in-game points. Players received 1 $NOT for every 1,000 points.Â
- Hamster Kombat confirmed a potential $HMSTR token listing in July. There is already an airdrop feature within the game, where players can see the tasks to mine crypto points.
- The game has recently reached 150 million players.
How it works:
- TapSwap: Players tap the coin with the TapSwap logo to earn points (shares). Boosters can be purchased with shares, which are also earned through tasks, higher leagues, and referrals. The $TAPS token launch, initially set for May, was rescheduled to July 1 due to bot issues.
- Yescoin: Players slice falling coins to earn YES points. Boosters can be bought with YES, and additional points are earned through social tasks, daily check-ins, and referrals. The launch date and distribution details for $YES tokens are yet to be announced.
Potential Airdrops: The planned token launches hint at possible airdrops, rewarding players for their in-game activities and encouraging more engagement.
What’s next: $TAPS token launch is rescheduled to July 1, while the community waits for announcement of the $YES token launch date and distribution details.
