The Blockchain Council of the Philippines (BCP) introduced its new advisory board at the BCP Annual General Membership Meeting 2024. The board includes leaders from licensed crypto exchanges in the country.

What’s the significance: The new advisory board addresses a common concern that some in the council leadership are not actively working in blockchain but nevertheless have the network and influence to effect policy change and new initiatives.

By including these industry experts, particularly from local crypto exchanges, the council aims to better represent and support the blockchain community.
