Philippine Blockchain Week 2023

This year’s PBW 2023 is scheduled to be held from September 19 to 21, 2023, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Newport World Resorts in Manila. The event is anticipated to attract a diverse audience from various industries and regions worldwide, uniting influential leaders in the blockchain and crypto field. 

With the theme “BRKOUT,” the event aims to inspire attendees to challenge conventions, embrace new opportunities, and emerge as leaders in the blockchain space. The program will encompass engaging discussions on topics such as blockchain, fintech, the metaverse, regulation, Artificial Intelligence, privacy, and DeFi, reflecting the current landscape of the industry.

For this year’s run, the DICT will take the lead in organizing Blockchain 101, a program aimed at educating numerous students in the National Capital Region (NCR) about the potential opportunities in the blockchain industry. Further, the department will facilitate focus group discussions for government officials to advocate for the adoption of blockchain technology in storing government data.
