ASEAN: THE NEXT BLOCKCHAIN, CRYPTO HUB IN THE WORLD

A lot of amazing things are happening right now in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space in ASEAN and the rest of the world!

In ASEAN, for instance, which is fast emerging to be the global hub of blockchain and crypto, four countries now have their own CBDC programs- Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and Cambodia. By 2030, it is projected that 40% of the global GDP will be going into ASEAN. The Philippines is also positioning itself to become the global blockchain capital with the progressive stance and support of the government.

Outside of ASEAN, there is Japan’s dominance in the blockchain gaming area and a robust regulatory landscape for blockchain and cryptocurrency.  Digital experts also foresee Africa as the frontier for cryptocurrency with massive adoption and acceptance on the continent. Japan and Africa are formidable communities in blockchain and crypto.
