  • Fully licenced payment gateway and processor for fiat and crypto with B2C and B2B functionality
  • End consumer-facing wallet application with financial inclusion solutions such as bill payments, loads etc.
  • Business facing open API infrastructure for providing payment solutions

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced CMBDO based in Manila, Philippines, who can spearhead the ideation, coordination and execution of our Philippines and global marketing activities.

You will be a highly analytical and creative marketer who enjoys rapidly testing, learning and scaling new tactics.

You’re an energetic and organised self-starter with demonstrable experience as a senior marketing decision-maker for a fintech platform.

As CMBDO, you will liaise closely with the management team and will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Develop and implement an overall vision for engaging the fintech and Web3 industries, introducing ideas and robust approaches for better understanding users’ needs and how we most effectively communicate with them.
  • Establish a content marketing strategy and brand narrative to ensure a steady cadence of news, updates and announcements to the external market.
  • Lead Content & Communications planning, execution, and metrics reporting, including content creation and curation, PR, influencer marketing, social media coordination, and partnership co-marketing.
  • Create and lead the execution of a tailored business development plan that ties into marketing activities.
  • Business development through outreach to businesses and institutions to establish strategic partnerships and attract users.
  • Manage all media distribution channels, including Twitter, Medium, Telegram, Youtube, and Email.
  • Develop proactive short and long-form content, communications, and PR strategies and initiatives, and coordinate execution with internal team and external partners.
  • Brainstorm and develop pitch, article, and editorial ideas in partnership with internal thought leaders and media contacts.
  • Write compelling press releases, media pitches, white papers, blog entries, and contributed articles.
  • Lead the Community Outreach and Social Media associates to drive the Content and Communications calendar for internal (blog, website, community) and external channels and submissions, including white papers, reports, articles, scripts, byline/contributed content, speaking opportunities, and awards.
  • Negotiate financial agreements and manage a team of external partners, including PR, Marketing and Content Writers.
  • Measure impact and uncover insights across marketing activities to help guide decisions for future planning.
  • Proactively stay up to date about market trends, opportunities, risks and new projects, with a passion for the fintech and Web3 industries.
  • Liaise with the team to establish and implement a communication strategy for product developments and launches, partnerships, and overall company growth.
  • Manage relationships with KOLs and engage them to articulate key marketing messages.
  • Engage with any Community Moderators and create content to answer any questions generated by the community.
  • Manage industry events, team speaking roles, and branding sponsorships.
  • Track and report content and communications program results and metrics.

What you will need

  • Exceptional storytelling, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Philippines market.
  • Experience in attracting, engaging, and growing a user base and demonstrable industry relationships.
  • Strong track record of delivering excellent media results.
  • Strong coordination skills and strategic mindset towards marketing, with familiarity with online and offline marketing avenues such as social media, community management, event management and affiliate marketing,
  • Fluent language ability in English with excellent writing skills
  • Exceptional project and timeline management; strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable switching quickly between a professional managed-by-numbers culture and a startup environment.
