Yield Guild Games Acquires Axies Alerts PH in an All-Cash Deal

Filipino-led play-to-earn community Yield Guild Games (YGG) announced today that it has acquired the Axie Alerts PH (AAPH) in an all-cash deal.
Despite the sale, according to AAPH the management will “stay 100% to the original creators.”
Axie Alerts PH, dubbed as the “world’s largest Axie Infinity Community”, currently has 785,237 likes and 876,224 follows. It provides timely updates regarding Axie Infinity such as daily SLP/AXS value reports, server updates, and the latest news.
“Brylle, James, and Philip have built an awesome community and we’re lucky to be working with them and supporting their ideas with YGG resources. More news soon!” YGG wrote in a tweet.
Accordingly, in July of last year, Luis Buenaventura, now YGG’s Country Manager for the Philippines and a regular BitPinas contributor, was a guest for the AAPH first webcast titled Pronto About Axie Infinity and Crypto.
YGG is continuously growing its community.
Recently, the gaming guild also acquired support from Coinbase, a US-based cryptocurrency platform, for its “Sponsor-a-Scholar” program which aims to bring more assets available for scholarships. (Read more: YGG to Sponsor-a-Scholar with Coinbase)
In addition, last December, YGG disclosed that its first regionally-focused subDAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), Yield Guild Games Southeast Asia (YGG SEA), has raised US$15 million across two rounds of fundraising to support adoption of play-to-earn gaming in Southeast Asia.
