Tezos DApps Updated: Naan, Temple Wallet, Youves, Smartlink, and QuipuSwap

This post discusses arguably minor yet interesting updates to Naan and Temple wallets as well as novelties in DeFi projects Youves, Smartlink, and QuipuSwap.

NFT collection by Naan on Tezos

Naan Wallet has launched its own NFT collection following the steps of the Tezos Foundation which had also started collecting NFTs. There are many objects of different genres, from rotoscoped animations to colored abstract splashes. You can see for yourself by going to naancollection at objkt.com.

The collection is curated by Varundo, who also heads Tezos India Arts & Culture. He works together with art institutions, galleries, and universities, and also develops programs to educate artists on Tezos. This is how the wallet team attempts to draw public attention to blockchain and art.

More Ways to Buy tez in Temple Wallet

Temple Wallet added the payment provider Utorg, which works in 187 countries and supports 25 popular fiat currencies.

Utrogt sells tez for USD, EUR, UAH, INR and other currencies. You can pay with any card, or via Apple Pay and Google Pay. You have to go through KYC to make a purchase, which takes about 3 minutes.

Introducer Fee by Youves

The Youves team has announced the launch of the Introducer Fee program upon the YIP-007 proposal. To make a long story short, the referrer invites friends via a link, the friends mint tokens and get rewards in YOU, and the referrer gets 10% of their rewards.

It is all fair: Youves increase referrals rewards by 10% (rather than 100 YOU per week, it’s now 110 YOU), and gives those additional tokens to the referrals.

At the time of publication, Introducer Fee works for minting uUSD against USDt.

Token Locker on Smartlink

The DeFi ecosystem Smartlink announced the launch of Smartlink Token Locker on Tezos. It helps projects transparently distribute FA1.2 and FA2 tokens among shareholders.

To use Token Locker, you must pay a fee of 15,000 SMAK (~$115 at the time of publication). The creator of the giveaway sets the vesting conditions, and Token Locker in each block sends tokens to the specified addresses.

Smartlink is also preparing to launch a web3 marketplace. Hopefully, it will feature some merch from popular projects shortly after the launch.

Harvest&Roll by QuipuSwap

The decentralized exchange QuipuSwap has launched Harvest&Roll for risky farmers.

When withdrawing profits from farms, the user can play a game and either double the farming reward or lose everything. It’s essentially a coin toss game where the user risks the unrealized profit.
