NMIXX, a girl group from entertainment giant JYP (the home of big Kpop Stars Twice, Stray Kidz, and Itzy), has recently held an exclusive comeback showcase at the launch of the new non-fungible token (NFT) platform NOW.Drops

An NFT airdrop event was held on the newly launched platform where crystals, the platform currency, were provided through a lottery that lets users hold NMIXX’s NFTs for free. The airdrop started last September 19th and will last until the 28th.

“Now Drops is a service that opens new possibilities in the NFT market based on NOW’s original content production power and Line Next’s technology. It will give them a new experience,” stated Jinhwan Gong, NOW.Drops Senior Service Leader.

What is NOW.Drops?

The platform is launched by South Korean internet giant Naver Corp. and online platform LINE which aims to help K-pop fans to create personalized NFTs.

It allows users to mint NFTs of their favorite acts where they can crop out of the exclusive content through Naver’s live audio and video streaming service that features South Korean artists.

To access NOW.Drops, users can log in through LINE’s e-wallet DOSI.

To mint and save the personalized clips, users must purchase “crystals”. Crystals can also be used to purchase other NFTs on the platform.
