Streamlabs, a software that lets streamers stream on Twitch, is now accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Streamers on Twitch use an Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) in order to stream. Streamlabs is a software that occupies 15% of Twitch’s streams. It is now accepting bitcoins and other cryptos as tips.

It is reported that the service that allows live streams on Twitch will use Coinbase as its payment processor. Before streamers are able to use this new crypto tipping function, they will need to connect a  Coinbase account.

Streamlabs will support cryptocurrency tips in bitcoin, ether, litecoin, and bitcoin cash. The company also hinted that they are currently looking into adding other coins.

The company’s official blog also shared that streamers won’t be charged if they start to collect tips via cryptos but Coinbase may charge fees to convert the cryptocurrency to fiat.
