How to Play Legends of Venari | Philippines NFT Game Guide

Legends of Venari is an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) RPG based on the Ethereum blockchain. 
The main objective is to capture Venari, pocket monster-like creatures, in the regions of the City of Tecta and level up these Venari to make them stronger. To be able to capture them, you have to use baits to draw hiding Venaris and capture them using a rig. Experience and gold are acquired when capturing Venaris and can be used to purchase better baits and rigs.

How to play Legends of Venari?

Access passes are needed to activate an account within the game. These passes are available in Opensea. 

Each pass has a faction associated with it. These are the factions:

Talaw – This faction is like the muscles of the game. They see Venari as weapons that need to be trained to make them a stronger faction.

Vestal – This faction is more on the aesthetics of the Venari and would rather use them as pets inside a glass cage.

Azule – The intellectuals who see Venari as aid to improving mankind’s lifestyle.

The different types of passes

Gilded Pass – This was on sale last October 23-30 with 600 items available and is found in Opensea.
The benefits of having this pass are:

• Exclusive Access to Alpha Season
• Vocari Role on discord with access to private channels
• Exclusive Airdrops
• Exclusive AMA/discussions
• 10% in-game shop discount
• A small amount of premium currency at the start of each season
• Bonus % on premium currency purchases

And its features:

• Generates Gilded Base Pass
• You can obtain a max of 3-10 Gilded Base Passes per Gilded pass
• Generates 1 Gilded Base Pass per month with active gameplay

Alpha Pass – This was sold last December 12, 2021 with 3150 items and available in Opensea, as well.
Benefits:

• Exclusive Access to Alpha Season
• 5% in-game shop discounts
• A small amount of premium currency at the start of each season

Features:

• Generates Base Passes
• You can obtain a max of 1-7 Base passes per Alpha pass
• Generates 1 Base Pass per month with active gameplay

Gilded Base Pass – Earned from Gilded Passes. You can have access to the game starting Season 1 and only have a 3% in-game shop discount.

This pass can generate Base Passes and you can obtain a max of 1-3 Base passes per Gilded Base pass. It generates 1 Base Pass per month with $CC

Base Pass – Earned from Alpha Passes, Gilded Base Passes, and Base Passes. Players have access to the game starting Season 1. This pass can generate Base Passes and can obtain a max of 1-2 Base passes per Base pass. This can generate 1 Base Pass per month with $CC.

Lending of passes is possible and the owner of the pass can activate his pass to another account for them to lend their pass to other people and have the share in earnings.

How to start the playing Legends of Venari?

You need to go to https://app.legendsofvenari.com/sign-in and create an account. Once created, you will be prompted to select a pass that you have to activate. Upon activating your pass, there is a 24 hours cool down before you could use your account.

The pass can be purchased by another player and when he activates it on his account, there is a 24 hour cool down as well.

Whatever the faction on the pass is fixed. The owner cannot change factions. 

Legends of Venari In-game Items

Baits are used to lure Veranis to you and there are specific verani that prefer a specific bait. These bait are consumed when used to lure Veranis with.

Rigs are needed to catch Venari with. Initially, an Odus Rig is provided for your initial catch. And a better Rig is crucial in capturing rare and stronger Verani. The capture rate is based on the stats of the Venari and the stats of the Rig.

As you get stronger and gather gold, you may purchase stronger rigs from the shop.

Some Venari may drop loot and crafting material which are needed in order to craft rarer rigs. For example, the Lyrium Rig requires the player to first find a Lyrium Seed from a Venari before they can be able to craft it.

Venari

These are the NFT found in the game which are categories in this manner to distinguish their uniqueness:

Badges

• Genesis – A badge indicating that the Venari was caught during the Alpha season
• Event – A badge indicating that the Venari was caught during a limited time event
• Serialized – A badge (with a specified number) indicating that this was one of the first 100 Venari to be ever caught.

Elements, however, define how the Venari looks like. There are currently 6 different elements for each Venari, from Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Nature, and Ice. In the Alpha season, we will have 19 Venari on launch, each with 6 variants. Thus, there are 114 different Venari available to be caught on launch.

Constellations define the Venari’s base stats in a future update.

Sizes of Venari can be extra small, small, medium, large or extra large.

The developers plan to have PVE and PVP battles and a burning mechanism to lessen the population of Venari where the same Veranis caught can be fused together to create a Venari with a higher level.

How to Buy Caerras Credits ($CC)

This is the main token of Legends of Venari which can be used to purchase passes and in-game items and possible to customize Venaris with. Currently, this token is not available. 

The developers are still formulating better tokenomics to ensure it would adhere to their core values.
