Gelo says through utility, Alexis says take care of the community, Lala says educate your holders

BitPinas webcast last February 24, 2022, featured two successful NFT projects, Bored Punk of Society and Planktoons, that recently hit the highest trade volumes on Opensea.

During the question-and-answer portion of the program, one of the questions asked came from Ismael Jerusalem, CEO of Ownly, “What do you think will be the best approach to market your NFTs to play the long term game of the industry?” he asked.

The response of the guest speakers are as followed:

Gelo, co-founder of Bored Punks of Society, stated how important the utility of an NFT project helps the community in the long run, “Ganito kasi ‘yon.. For me kasi, mas important din na parang iparamdam mo ‘yong experience na sinabi kanina ni Alexis…, Utility, for me, is one of the best approach(es) to market your NFT (project)—especially (since) may nakwento nga si Mike na baka mag bear market tayo.

As long as mas solid ‘yong vision mo for your NFT, on how you will give value to your NFT project, and—as much as possible—on how you can give utility for your holders…, it will play a lot sa long term kasi, ayun nga, ever-expanding ang NFT space. It’s up to the team (and) up to the project owners kung paano nila i-aadjust ‘yong NFT project nila or paano nila i-iimprove ‘yong NFT project nila as time goes by.”

Kasi may ups and downs iyan pero as long you are solid ka sa vision…, goals…, (and are) giving as much value to your holders—to your art—it will have long-term (potential).”

[This is how it is… For me, it is more important that the experience is felt (by the project’s supporters), like what Alexis mentioned earlier. Utility, for me, is one of the best approach(es) to market your NFT (project)—especially (since) we might enter a bear market, just as Mike had said.

As long as you have a solid vision for your NFT, (you know) how you will give value to your NFT project, and—as much as possible—how you can give utility for your holders…, it will play a lot long-term because the fact is the NFT space is ever-expanding. Whatever the NFT project will need, whether it is adjustment or full-on improvement, will be up to the team (and) up to the project owners as time goes by.

Because (NFT Projects) have their ups and downs but as long as you have a solid vision…, goals…, (and are) giving as much value to your holders—to your art—it will have long-term (potential).”]

Alexis, co-founder of Bored Punks of Society, also added to what Gelo said and emphasized on the importance of taking care of the community, “Taking care of the community kasi is really important; they should continue to give and give, I think kasi that it’s what helps us grow and that’s where we will progress, ‘di ba? Kung sino ‘yong…, people who want to be in the community, who are interested to know about it, should also be willing to provide. And it’s our job to do so.”

[“Taking care of the community is really important; they should continue to give and give…, because I think that it’s what helps us grow and that’s where we will progress, right? Those who.. Not just those who have but also to people who want to be in the community, who are interested to know about it, should also be willing to provide. And it’s our job to do so.”]

In response, Gelo highlighted his outlook on the topic,, “Exactly! Community rin kasi ‘yong nag-ano sa amin… Kumbaga, community rin kasi ang dahilan kung bakit ang Bored Punks of Society ay nandito. So, ang priority ng team is to give as much value sa community, as much as possible. Kasi, yeah, they trusted us with this project din, they trusted us with this movement—(the) advocacy to educate people and meet din people sa (NFT) space.”

[“Exactly! The community is the reason why Bored Punks of Society is here. So, the team’s priority is to, as much as possible, give back value to the community. Because, yeah, they trusted us with the project, they trusted this movement—(the) advocacy to educate people and meet people in the (NFT) space.”]

Laladraws, artist of Planktoons NFT, also responded to the question given by the audience and gave her opinion on the importance of educating NFT holders, especially now that the market is down, “Same din po. For us, it is important to educate your holders din and the class must be flexible because sinasabi nga nila, ‘a month in the space is like a year.’

Sobrang bilissobrang bilis mag-evolve but keep on building lang especially now (that) we are in the bear market. We have to be patient but we have to keep on building and giv(ing) value to our holders. Our motto actually in Planktoons is, ‘We don’t over promise but we over deliver.’ “

[“Same on our end. For us, it is important to educate your holders and the class must be flexible because, as they say, ‘a month in the space is like a year’. It is fast—really fast in evolving but we just have to keep on building, especially now (that) we are in the bear market. We have to be patient but we have to keep on building and giv(ing) value to our holders. Our motto actually in Planktoons is, ‘We don’t over promise but we over deliver.’“]
