For this venture, the hotel commissioned the  emerging Filipino artists Mano Gonzales and Alaga–their artworks will be installed in The Lobby until September 30.

Mano Gonzales, a self-taught artist from Manila, explores politics, identity, and gender through his work. He draws on a wide range of influences to create drawings, sculptures, and fashion styling. Alaga, on the other hand, uses textiles, performance, and illustration to celebrate queer ecology and call for the conservation of Philippine biodiversity.

In addition to the digital art collectibles, buyers will also receive a physical premium collectible box containing a physical frame that will play the audiovisual NFT, a certificate of authenticity, and a physical piece of art from the artist.

In a statement, The Peninsula Manila’s contemporary art program Art in Resonance embodies its commitment to the Philippine cultural scene. The program empowers artists by offering financial and logistical aid, enabling them to create intricate public art projects. It also features panel discussions and guided tours.
