A month after their “Super Thank You Blowout Promo”, digital bank CIMB, a commercial bank supervised by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), has extended the promo for another month.

Overview of Super Thank You Blowout Promo

The promo first ran last July as the bank’s token of appreciation to its customers for making it one of the top banks in the country.

The promotion does not have a cap on ADB growth and includes the regular base rate and other applicable promos. Additionally, customers can maintain their balance and earn an interest rate of 6% p.a. on the first PHP 200,000 of their Total ADB. The regular base rates of 2.5% p.a. for UpSave and 2.6% p.a. for GSave accounts will be credited on the first day of every month.

Eligibility and Qualifications for the Promo

Eligibility for the promotion includes existing customers as of May 31, 2023, who increased their total Average Daily Balance (ADB) in July compared to June 2023. These customers can enjoy a 12% p.a. interest rate on the growth of their ADB.

To qualify, customers must have at least one active and unblocked GSave and/or UpSave account. The additional interest will be credited to eligible customers’ accounts within fourteen business days after the promo period, provided their accounts remain open and unblocked.

Newly opened accounts will have the ADB computed from the account open date, divided by the total number of days in the qualifying month. The total ADB is calculated by adding the ADB of both UpSave and GSave accounts during the month.
