Aiming to bring together technology aficionados, developers, and information technology (IT) enthusiasts in the country, community and tech non-profit organization (NGO) DEVCON announced its upcoming DEVCON PRO Summit on October 20, 2023, at Whitespace, Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Makati.

According to DEVCON, the summit is scheduled to host different topics, such as using emerging technology to solve social problems, building inclusive and equitable technology ecosystems, and the future of development in the age of artificial intelligence (AI) and its ethical implications.

During the presscon, Damarillo assured that web3 and blockchain entities are expected to attend the summit:
“It’s not going away, it’s gonna be around. I think that there are a lot of applications, banking will always use blockchain. I think the concept of web3 is not really only about crypto, it’s about community. As geeks, we’re always interested in web3 no matter what the use case.”
Speaking about web3, the founder also noted that his organization is also planning to utilize blockchain technology and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on its sub-branches DEVCON Kids and Codingverse.
