PDAX Launches ScholarPay, to Allow Managers to Directly Send Money to Axie Infinity Scholars

Philippine-based cryptocurrency exchange Philippine Digital Assets Exchange (PDAX) recently announced the launch of the platform’s newest feature, ScholarPay. The new service will allow the guilds and managers of Axie Infinity, a play-to-earn non fungible token (NFT) game, to send money directly to their scholars.

Currently, ScholarPay supports crypto to Philippine peso (PHP) conversion through the exchange as well as a simplified mass PHP payout system to Gcash and Instapay. 

Moreover, automated on-platform PHP Payout, mass Smooth Love Potion (SLP) transfer and Ronin wallet integration will also be added on the platform soon. SLPs are the in-game tokens of Axie Infinity that can be converted to fiat money.

Nix Eniego, the Assistant Vice President of PDAX, also assured that ScholarPay will “evolve overtime.”

“For Managers/Guild Leaders that operate large scholarships with (the) majority of scholars in the PH, this can help save you a ton of time and potentially more earnings for your scholars. (less fees, less turnover/swapping of assets),” he wrote in a tweet.

He also guarantees to the scholars they can get paid instantly “at the best rates.”

“You won’t need to try your luck and sell your $SLP at lower rates,” Eniego added.

Consequently, ScholarPay is free to use for the first 3 months, with minimal transaction fees after.
Recently, Eniego mentioned that Axie Infinity is not yet on its peak and that he is excited to see the games’ upcoming updates.
