Although the metaverse is in the digital realm, its affiliated organizations and entities still grace real life with its utilities. One of the latest events featuring this partnership is the recent successful Retro Glow Foam Party for a Cause for the benefit of Humanility’s Education Fund for the foster children organized by the Blockchain solutions firm, DynaQuest Technology Services Inc.

“Humanility has been a project of ours and has been dear to our hearts over the years, but it has been limited to how much we contribute through our teams in the process, when we visit the site — but tonight is different; tonight, saw us come together as a collective to make a huge difference in setting a brighter tomorrow for the Kids in Humanility. Words alone can’t convey how thankful we all are to each one of you,” says Randy Knutson, DynaQuest CEO & Founder. (Editor’s note: Randy Knutson regularly contributes articles to this publication.)

The event was conducted at the Sky Deck area of KMC’s Picadilly Star building office located in Bonifacio Global City Taguig. It had the participation of more than twenty sponsors and donors, which all donated in order to raise more than PHP 620,000 for the benefit of Humanility, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of street children who were once abandoned and exploited.

In a statement, DynaQuest disclosed that all of the proceeds of the event will be used to benefit the Children’s Education Fund by Humanility as well as the expansion of their Computer Learning Center through the procurement of new computer units and laptops to prepare for the incoming 2022-2023 school year.

Gail Cruz-Macapagal, DynaQuest Country Director, who chaired the organizing team for the said event noted that the foam party “was an unforgettable night for all of us.”

“For one night, we were able to come together and make a difference. This includes the DynaQuest team, our partners – many of whom we have worked with over the years – and our most generous sponsors who helped make this event possible,” she stated.

In total, the foam party was attended by more than 50 people, including DynaQuest employees, Humanility Representatives, sponsors, donors, and very special guests.

The blockchain firm has sponsored, organized and hosted events dedicated to the holistic care and development of the children under the care of Humanility such as Back to School parties, grant donations, sponsored medical and dental missions, educational and recreational tours, fundraising for Christmas and donations to the repair and rehabilitation of the Humanility Shelter in Bogo Cebu, in the aftermath of typhoon Odette in December 2021.

Moreover, CEO Randy Knutson is a member of the Humanility Board of Directors, while Gail Cruz-Macapagal (DynaQuest Country Director / HIMAP VP) is the Country Representative of Humanility Philippines.

Last month, Humanility released the non-fungible token (NFT) collection “Empowered Children – From the Streets to School – Art Collection”, a collection of 76 hand-drawn illustrations created by foster children currently under the care of Humanility Philippines. The NFTs are available on Likha, a Filipino NFT marketplace that is currently in beta. (Read more: New NFT Initiative Seeks to Raise Funds for Foster Children)
