The demand for Axie in the Philippines continues to increase as some merchants in the country are now accepting SLP as a mode of payment for their products and services.

In collaboration with Axie Capital, Inflatable Island PH, the biggest floating playground in Asia; The Dessert Museum, an interactive eat as you play and learn experience and Bakebe PH, a modern baking studio where anyone can bake with zero baking experience are now accepting SLP as one of their modes of payments and also providing discounts for those people who will pay using SLP.

Axie Capital assumes that there are now 300,000 Filipino players of Axie Infinity. The game recently crossed $25 million daily trading volume and is already selling more than 50,000 NFTs per day (all figures are July 2021 data).

The Architect PH, a premier online fitness coaching service provider in the Philippines announced recently their partnership with ASGroup in order to accept SLP as one of their modes of payment for the services they are offering.

Online sellers like Gilmore Online, LRD Computers, Ark PC & PISONET Parts and Justin Laptop Shop are now also accepting SLP and buyers can now be able to buy their dream laptops, computer services and accessories with it.

Envirocab, a renowned taxi fleet company founded in 2005 which provides its drivers and riders premium transport services, recently announced its acceptance of SLP as one of their payment methods.

Trend Seller, a shoe store located at Pasig City is now also accepting SLP as one of their payment methods for both of its online and walk-in clients.

According to their post, buyers can exchange their SLP with the following rates:

100 SLP = Top Grade Tier

50-80 = Replica Pair

Note: The following rate of the seller might change because of SLP volatility.

Solid Toys, a go-to online store for collectibles and designer toys is now also on the list of merchants accepting SLP as one of its payment methods.

Silver Tribe, a vape juice seller, is now also accepting SLP as one of their payment methods. On their recent facebook post, the previous rate is 22 SLP = 1 Juice. However, SLP price had changed dramatically and it is better to contact the page directly to get the updated price.

Korean restaurants like Super Boink Unlimited Korean BBQ and Jeonju Palace Pulilan are now also accepting SLP as one of their payment methods and customers can now be able to enjoy their farmed SLP on delicious goods offered by the two (2) restaurants.

Axie Infinity just recently rebalanced its in-game economy by limiting the SLP that can be farmed on “Adventure Mode” to 50, while raising the bar on “Arena Mode” by rewarding those players who are really into the game by creating a ladder of rewards whenever a player reach a level of MMR which will increase the amount of SLP per win.

However, so many players are still discouraged by it because of the continuous drag of SLP price in the current market.

As of this writing, SLP is currently sitting at $0.1568 (P7.82)

AXS is the governance token of the game which enables participants to shape and vote for the future direction of the Axie Infinity universe. Holders can also stake their tokens to earn more AXS. SLP is the rewards earned by players through different features of the game like adventure and the arena and these tokens can also be used to breed new Axies which can be bred up to 7 times with gradual increases of AXS and SLP requirements needed until breeders reach the maximum breeding limit.
