Loyal Coin Wallet Now Live on Google Play Store

From redeeming LYL at Punta Mandala resto and demonstrating how the collaboration with TrueMoney works, Loyal Coin announces the launch of its wallet app.

The resto-bar located in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong owned by Mr. Paolo Bediones, Chief Operating Officer of Appsolutely, is giving LYL coins for free. Punta customers can redeem LYL coins at a redemption rate of 3% (ex: Php 1000 bill is equal to Php 30 worth of LYL). They can also redeem free food and drinks with their LYL coins.

Currently, the resto-bar accepts BTC and LYL. It also has its own bitcoin ATM on site.

LYL to Fiat using Truemoney

With the partnership of Loyal Coin and TrueMoney already set, the two completed a successful dry run of processing LYL to fiat using TrueMoney’s agent network. This will let token holders exchange their LYL to Philippine money using the “Pera Out” feature of TrueMoney.

Loyal Coin Goes to Seoul, South Korea

The company’s CEO, Mr. Patrick Palacios, is one of the speakers in the Korean Blockchain Summit that will happen this July. The team is also planning to set a meetup with Loyalists in the country.

Loyal Wallet App Now Live

LYL coin’s official wallet, LoyalWallet by Appsolutely on Google Play Store is now live. The company also hinted that it will release LoyalWallet on the iOS App Store soon.

For Beta LoyalWallet users, here’s how to transition to the live version:

  1. Search LoyalWallet on Google Play Store.
  2. Scroll down up to the Beta Tester section and tap on Leave.
  3. Tap Leave for the second time on the pop-up message.
  4. Refresh the Google Play Store and make sure that you’re already out of beta.
  5. Update your LoyalWallet app.
  6. Relaunch your app and you’re good to go.

50cycles

This month, Loyal Coin also inked a partnership with UK-based 50cycles. A manufacturer of electric bikes, 50cycles will give 50 points for every 50 miles ridden, redeemable at every 1,000 miles of use.
