“The main goal of the workshop is (to) educate and empower the workshop attendees in thinking creatively and fostering an innovative environment,” Dynaquest wrote in a statement.

Bataan Blockchain Fundamentals and Innovation Workshop

The Bataan Blockchain Fundamentals and Innovation Workshop is an onsite seminar aimed to educate participants on the concepts of DTL and showcase its transformative use cases across various industries. The event happened last May 30-31, 2023.

The workshop highlighted the impact of emerging technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence on businesses and society. DynaQuest CEO & Founder, Randy Knutson, expressed the company’s commitment to raising awareness and helping local organizations embark on their blockchain journey.

Knutson highlighted the firm’s collaborations with local governments and partners in Bacolod, Caraga, and DICT’s TechTrends Blockchain series to raise awareness about the technology. DynaQuest spearheaded notable events like the 2018 Bacolod Blockchain Initiative (B2CI), 2019 Convergence Initiative and Digital Identities, and 2020 Caraga Literacy and Agriculture Development.vv

In a statement, DynaQuest shared that during the second day of the workshop, there was an interactive Breakout Session that enabled participants to apply their newfound knowledge and explore blockchain’s potential in areas such as tax collection, digital identity, and economic growth.

“Participation in the Breakout session part (is) very lively as each of the four groups have formed diverse opinions on the application of Blockchain basing on the hypothetical scenarios applied to local industries – each with their advantages and the barriers needed to be overcome,” DynaQuest Country Director Gail Cruz-Macapagal, also the workshop’s speaker and presenter, stated.
