CryptoPH Weekly Roundup – Mar. 11 – 17, 2024

We are now at the 43rd episode of the BitPinas webcast, the weekly online show where we interview the people who move the crypto industry forward.

How crazy time flies. I remember starting the webcast with Chiin Gandia our co-host, we were getting on average 2k views, some 50 comments, and around 25 concurrent viewers. I have a full script word per word (I still have this, but has lesser words), experimenting on the right number of guests.

First big webcasts were when Jeffrey Zirlin and Lexus Dela Cruz (Kookoo) went to the show. These two are arguably and still are the biggest names in all of web3 gaming. At that time, the website has been running for 5 years but the webcast was uncharted territory. Our audience were still mostly readers. Their appearance on the show gave it initial credence and let the audience know of what’s to come next on the webcast.

Despite recently enduring what was considered the most severe storm their town had faced, leading to a lack of electricity, Kookoo graciously accepted our invitation to appear on the show.

The webcast featuring Jihoz was particularly memorable, set against the backdrop of the Axie Infinity community’s generous donation of millions in SLP, AXS and other cryptocurrencies to aid the victims of Typhoon Odette.

In one of our recent webcast, we got over 10K views on Facebook and 15K on replay on YouTube.
