A company is set to battle fake news and identity theft in content publishing using the blockchain.

SnippeMEdia is a mobile app that aggregates information from trusted sources. Together with Superiex, a Chinese firm whose expertise is in digital goods and digital trading platforms, both companies partner to provide data security and prevent fake news, online fraud, and identity theft in content publishing platforms.

Specifically, the features of the platform will be the following:

• Article management. From creating, reading, publishing, sharing, and commenting on articles and posts
• Copyright protection. Because of the blockchain, there is proof as to who is the original author or owner of a material.
• Intellectual Property Protection – full protection of online content.

The central theme of the project is trust. The blockchain will be able to authenticate sources, as well as identify original creators of content.

Under the agreement between the two companies, SnippetMEdia will be responsible for setting the rules of the platform, as well as provide all the tools for marketing, copyright, etc.
